Filling Foods High In Fibre & Protein. 1) Soups Soups are very filling meals, despite being in liquid form. They also stay in the stomach longer, thus prolonging the feeling of fullness. Any soup is fine, but I would recommend spinach egg drop soup. 2) Cottage cheese Cottage cheese is high in protein, yet low in fat, carbohydrates and calories.  3) Legumes Legumes like beans, peas, lentils and peanuts - studies have found these foods to keep people fuller for a lot longer. 4) Nuts Nuts, such as almonds and walnuts are rich in healthy fats and protein. They reduce appetite. 5) Popcorn (I know)! Popcorn is high in fibre, high in volume and low in energy density. Calorie for calorie, it is very filling.
